good governance under the inspiring
leadership of Honorable Chief Minister – Dr.
Pawan Kr. Chamling.
Tourism is an important sector in the
prosperity of a Nation and the State. The
attention of planners, social reformers,
politicians, cultural and academic scholars
has been focused on the multi-dimensional
growth of tourism sector into one of the
important industries in the world. It is one
of the best and convenient platforms for
educating people. Tourism provides an
opportunity for cross-cultural communication
and eliminates social barriers that impede
progress towards understanding and harmony
between people and nation. It opens up new
areas for promoting national integration and
international understanding.
